Marinate minced beef with soy sauce, sugar, pepper and sesame oil for 30mins, mix with grated cheddar cheese and the juice of ginger.
Tap both sides of the dumpling skin with flour and put one teaspoon of the mixture in the middle of the dumplings skin. Wet the edge with water and fold it in half. Fold the two tips onto each other to form a bowl shape.
Bring 800ml of water to the boil and add dumplings in. Gently stir to avoid sticking and serve when the dumplings float in the boiling water.
Add minestrone soup for a fushion taste or chicken stock for traditional flavour. It’s also perfect to go with noodles and definitely a good option as cozy comfy food at all times.
